I use to blog throughout my high school and college years. Never did I think I would be blogging again for my own business or related to photography! 🙂

Anyways, I want to share one of my favorite family sessions for my first photography blog post. I met Ann Marie in 2021 when she heard about me through a mutual friend while she was searching for a photographer for their twin baby girls on the way. I brought my portable newborn studio to their home in Timonium, Maryland. I worked my magic with newborn twins and family photos which included dad, big sister, and both grandmothers!

Anne Marie scheduled an outdoor family session in 2022, just as the twins were reaching 18 months old. Big sister, Abby, was 3 years old which means they had three girls aged three and under, HOLY MOLY!

We discussed location options and decided on Loch Raven Reservoir, Towson Maryland for several reasons: activities for the kids (climbing rocks, exploring the beach, watching ducks), variety of scenery (rocks, grass, woods, and beach) and this location was close proximity to their home so they could keep dinner and bedtime routines on schedule.

The session lasted about 45 minutes with lots of breaks for exploring, snacks, diaper changes, and more snacks. We had extra hands with grandma joining along, and we were able to get some precious photos of the girls with their grandmother!
