In my Monkton, Maryland photography studio, I make the entire experience stress-free and effortless so you can enjoy the moment without the hassle of planning every detail.

With full access to my client closet, you can choose an outfit (or outfits!) for your little one ahead of time. Before we dive into the cake smash, we’ll capture a variety of milestone portraits, including sitting, standing, and adorable close-ups of their hands, feet, and facial expressions.

A Stress-Free Cake Smash Experience

At the end of the session, we’ll transition to the cake smash! The simple white cake, made by a local baker, is ordered, delivered, and set up by me—so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Since this is often the first time little ones experience cake, reactions can vary—some dive right in, while others aren’t so sure! If your baby needs a little encouragement, I always recommend bringing puffs or snacks to tuck behind the cake for those perfect interactive moments. Whether they love it or refuse it, every reaction makes for amazing, personality-filled photos.
